Hindu organizations hold protest march in Jetpur; presents memorandum to Mamlatdar

Junagadh: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang dal held a Hindu Swabhiman Padyatra (march) in Jetpur and gave memorandum to mamlatdar and ASP to add the section of sedition against a Muslim man who allegedly used abusive language for the nation.

A Muslim man from Navagadh in Jetpur named Javed Qureshi had called a person named Natubhai Butani from Jetpur. The conversation lasted 9 minutes. He allegedly spoke abusive words for Bhagvan Ram, Hindus, nation, BJP and former minister Jayesh Radadiya. He also said that he will shoot PM Narendra Modi if he comes across. He also threatened Natubhai that he will kill him if he shared any post of BJP on social media.

The city police has booked the Muslim man for using abusive words for God, hurting religious sentiments, and threatening to kill under IPC section 295 A, 504, 506 (2). BJP, VHP and Bajrang Dal have appealed to add a section of sedition in this case as he used abusive language for the nation. DeshGujarat
