150 ceiling for gatherings in functions including weddings in Gujarat: Govt

Gandhinagar: As per the decision taken in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the new ceiling of gatherings including political, social, educational, cultural, religious gathering and functions will be 150 persons during 12 – 22 January.

If held in closed spaces, the ceiling in the functions and gathering will be same 150 but the capacity of venue requires to be double compared to the number of persons present.

Wedding functions in open can be organized only in the limit of 150 persons. When held in closed venue, the ceiling will remain same 150 persons but the capacity of venue requires to be double compared to the number of persons present.

These new decisions will be effective from 12 January midnight to 22 January 6.00 am. DeshGujarat
