Fire breaks out in a bus in Surat; One dead

Surat: A woman died due to burn injuries after fire broke out in a private luxury bus near Yogi Chowk area of Surat in the evening on Tuesday. Fire broke out in moving luxury bus within the city reportedly due to blast in compressor of Air Conditioning unit, triggered by short circuit. A woman who died was accompanied by a youth in right side double-bed cabin of this sleeper bus. While a youth jumped outside the bus safely, the women died as she couldn’t come out. The bus had multiple mobile charging units. The fire could spread very quickly. The incident happened on a busy road and lot of people had gathered in attempt to do rescue.
