Gujarat govt to organize series of Garib Kalyan Melas

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government will organize the series of Garib Kalyan Melas across the State to assist the poor for self-employment in coming days, said the Spokesperson minister of State government, Jitubhai Vaghani while briefing the media regarding the decisions taken in weekly State cabinet meeting which was held earlier today. Vaghani said, Garib Kalyan Melas were initiated by then Chief Minister of Gujarat Narendrabhai Modi. Direct benefits under various schemes of the State government are handed over to poor beneficiaries from the venues of Garib Kalyan Melas. Gujarat is going to witness general elections of State assembly later this year, possibly in the month of December if as per schedule. The government will have an opportunity to go to the millions of poor-class beneficiaries across the State through Garib Kalyan Melas. DeshGujarat
