Diploma students covered under Chief Minister’s Scholarship Scheme

Gandhinagar: The students taking admissions in diploma courses after class 10 and the students taking admission in degree courses after passing their diploma will get the benefit of Mukhya Mantri Shishyavrutti Yojana in the state.
The education department has informed that the students belonging from the families having an annual income below Rs 4.50 lakh will get the benefit of the scheme. The amount of either Rs 50 thousand or the 50 percent of the annual tuition fee, whichever is less, will be approved for the eligible students taking admission in diploma courses after class 10.
The amount of either Rs 1 lakh or 50 percent of the tuition fee of the engineering or professional courses will be approved for the students taking admission in degree courses after passing their diploma. It will be a supplementary scheme of Mukhya Mantri Yuva Swavlamban Yojana. DeshGujarat
