Gandhinagar: The beneficiaries of various schemes of National Health Mission in Gujarat will receive the financial aids ‘at single click’ in their bank accounts now, as Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today morning launched Model-2 of electronic fund flow application of State Nodal Agency (SNA). Gujarat has become the only state in the country to launch Model 2 of the application.
The beneficiaries will get the financial aid and other benefits within one week instead of the current duration of around 4 to 5 weeks, stated the State government.
The state health department has launched Model-2 of electronic fund flow application after appointing state health society Gandhinagar as SNA for allocation and monitoring of the funds under Centrally Sponsored Schemes.
All the financial transactions and processes will automatically process on PFNS portal due to the model 2 of the application. It will also provide real time monitoring of the information of aids provided to the beneficiaries.
Under the National Health Mission, the government of India provides Rs. 4000 crore assistance under various health programmes/schemes for emergency covid response package, Ayushyaman Bharat health infrastructure mission and 15th Finance Commission. DeshGujarat
