Ancient artillery shells discovered at Pavagadh

Vadodara: The ancient artillery shells were found during excavation at Manchi near Pavagadh in Panchmahal district.

The excavation was is underway to expand the chowk by demolishing the dharmashala building. The land where the work is on is owned by zilla panchayat. It is located at Manchi near Pavagadh. The artillery shells were found during excavation under dharmashala building. Pavagadh police and the archeology department team reached the spot after learning about this discovery. The excavation work was stopped after finding ancient artillery pieces. DeshGujarat
