Online teaching ends; Schools across Gujarat reopen fully in offline mode
February 21, 2022
Gandhinagar: The schools across Gujarat have started functioning in offline mode from today following the state government’s permission to operate in a limited capacity from today.
While offline classes were permitted to function in the past too, the parallel online classes were functioning and therefore majority of students were staying away from offline teaching. Also, the schools were functioning in fifty per cent capacity only in offline mode. However now when online teaching has been ended, the schools are again witnessing nearly full attendance of students in classrooms.
State Education Minister Jitu Vaghani had declared on 17th February that the government had decided to reopen schools and colleges fully for offline classes. The announcement was made in the core committee meeting held in the leadership of CM Bhupendra Patel. The anganwadi and kindergarten students were the focus in the latest announcement.
