Girshma Vekariya murder case; Surat Police file chargesheet in 9 days after crime

Surat: Kamrej Police here has filed a 2500-page chargesheet against the accused Fenil Goyani(20) in Grishma Vekariya murder case in just nine days after the incident of crime that had shocked the city of Surat.
The chargesheet includes the statements of 190 witnesses including 27 eyewitnesses and 188 documentary evidences. The public prosecutor Nayan Sukhadwala said that all efforts will be made to ensure fast track justice in this case.
The accused Fenil Goyani brutally murdered Grishma Vekariya by slitting her throat with a sharp knife in public view on 12th February 2022 at Pasodara in Kamrej Taluka of Surat.
The police had received a 3-day remand of the accused on 16th February after nabbing him. The accused was then sent to jail. DeshGujarat
