SIMBA software for identification match of Gir Lions

Junagadh: Gujarat government’s forest department will take help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) linked ‘Simba’ software for personal identification of lions in Sasan Gir.
Sasan DCF Mohan Ram informed that the different names will be given to the lions by identifying marks on their body parts including face, ears in their photographs through the software. Their veterinary record will be maintained using the same. The software will be kept at Gir High Tech monitoring Unit in Sasan. DeshGujarat
