Gandhinagar: The State assembly business scheduled earlier on March 11 has been entirely shifted to March 16, said State government spokesperson Jitubhai Vaghani today to media persons. He said, there will be double sitting on March 16. He said the decision has been taken unanimously after discussion with opposition party. He said the change has been made due to Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi’s scheduled visit to the State on March 11 and related function which is going to be attended by all Gujarat BJP MLAs, MPs and elected members right from village level. It’s worth noting that the Prime Minister is going to address a one and half lakh strong gathering on March 11 at GMDC ground in Ahmedabad titled as ‘Maru Gam, Maru Gujarat’. The Prime Minister is also scheduled to kick off Khel Mahakumbh sports festival at Sardar Patel stadium in Navrangpura area of city on March 12. DeshGujarat
