ACB Gujarat nabs a lady cop in bribe case

Mahesana: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed a woman police constable of Santhal police station in Mehsana district in a bribe case involving sum of Rs 2500.
The complainant’s brother and friends were booked under Gambling Act at Santhal Police Station. The accused woman police constable Ashaben Kanjibhai Chaudhari demanded a bribe of Rs 2500 from the complainant, his brother and friends to release their items from the police station as per the court’s order.
The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. The accused was found taking a bribe of Rs 2500 from the complainant during the trap executed by ACB. ACB detained the accused. DeshGujarat
