Police traces relatives of deceased man through Aadhar linked vaccination details

Surat: The police found details of a man who committed suicide in bushes in front of ST depot in Surat through his vaccination data using his Aadhar card found from his pocket.

The dead body of a youth was found in the noon from bushes in the ground in front of ST depot where buses are parked. Mahidharpura police reached the spot and started investigation. The deceased was taken to SMIMER hospital through 108-ambulance. The police found his Aadhar card from his pocket. His name, mentioned on the Aadhar card was Akhilesh Yadav. It was further revealed through his Aadhar card that he had taken covid-19 vaccine in union territory Daman.

Thanks to this lead, the police further found the names of his relatives. The police contacted the deceased’s brother living in Mumbai and informed him about the matter. It is suspected at the primary stage that the deceased committed suicide, as per the police. He died due to hanging, and no other injuries were found on his body as per post-mortem report.
