Palanpur: Former BJP MLA Vasant Bhatol has today rejoined the BJP today in presence of State party chief CR Patil with about 3,000 supporters.

Vasant Bhatol was BJP MLA from Danta constituency prior to year 2012 assembly election. He had joined opposition Congress in 2012 as he was upset due to denial of BJP ticket to re – contest. Vasant however had not achieved any success in Congress. Vasant’s father Parthi Bhatol had contested Lok Sabha election as Congress candidate from Banaskantha in 2019. However he too had remained unsuccessful amid wave in which BJP was elected on all 26 Lok Sabha seats. 

Gujarat is going to witness the general election of the State assembly in December this year. DeshGujarat
