Drug supply via Foreign Post Office parcels; Customs, Gujarat Police bust the racket

Sabarmati: Ahmedabad city crime branch and custom officials jointly seized a drug consignment having drugs worth around Rs 2 crore 95 lakh from Custom Foreign Post office in Ahmedabad.
The parcel was going to be delivered to the USA from Ahmedabad through post services. It included a ketamine drug of 600-gms weight. The parcel arrived in South Gujarat from Rajasthan from where it was sent to Ahmedabad, as found in investigation. An accused named Sonu, from Pushkar in Rajasthan is held by the police. The investigation regarding other persons involved in this case is undergoing, informed DCP crime Chaitanya Mandlik.
The raid was jointly conducted by the custom officials and Ahmedabad city crime branch. Ketamine drug is mostly used in party cultures, informed DCP crime Chaitanya Mandlik.
