May 27, 2022
Surat: The politics of sops and freebies is detrimental for a country and Sri Lanka is its prime example, state BJP President CR Patil said while launching a verbal attack on the Aam Aadmi Party in Surat. The people of Gujarat will react strongly if anybody tries to tarnish the achievements and prosperity of Gujarat state, he thundered.
The State BJP president was inaugurating the South Gujarat Medical Education and Research Center on Ugat-Bhensan road in the city.
Speaking on the occasion, Patil said that it is out foremost duty to foil any attempt to stall the progress or tarnish the prosperity of Gujarat. He accused some people of enticing the people of the state with sops and criticizing its infrastructure. He said that the BJP government in the state is running schools with proper infrastructure and adequate teachers even in the remotest areas for the last 27 years. He also said that some people were misleading Gujaratis by speaking about Mohalla clinics.
Patil added that Gujarat doesn’t need Mohalla clinics because municipal corporations and NGOs are providing great healthcare facilities. He said that Gujaratis don’t believe in the culture of freebies, and they should be wary about anybody who talk about sops and freebies. DeshGujarat
