Farmer issues sorted to acquire land for second phase of Ahmedabad metro rail project

Ahmedabad: The Gandhinagar Municipal Commissioner, Dhaval Patel, personally visited Koba village and answered questions of farmers to free up land for the second phase of the Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar metro rail project.

With this, the work of installing pillars for the metro rail from Koba circle to PDPU road will start at a rapid pace.

In the second phase, the metro project will include Motera, Koba circle, GIFT city, and reach Akshardham.

However, work between Koba circle and PDPU had come to a standstill owing to farmers doubts with regards to the land being acquired.

The municipal commissioner along with other officials of the civic body reached TP scheme 1 and 2 of Koba village and resolved the doubts of the farmers over land acquisition.
