Rajkot Congress in Shambles as two Taluka Presidents leave Party in Discontent

Rajkot: The Rajkot Taluka and Lodhika Taluka Congress Presidents, Sanjaybhai Khunt and Mayursinh Jadeja together, submitted their resignation from the Congress Party. They have accused the Congress Party of ignoring them and giving them no importance. The District Congress President has replied by blaming them for being inactive and uninvolved in party proceedings.

Sanjaybhai Khunt and Mayursinh Jadeja were Congress Presidents in their respective Talukas for 4 years. They have accused the Congress Party of being ignorant and disregarding them. Sanjaybhai has made allegations about the party sidelining him and not backing him up. He claims of giving his blood and sweat to the party, even being arrested multiple times for its sake. Mayursinh has pointed fingers at Congress by stating how his proposal to create a Taluka body wasn’t paid heed to and how he was detained multiple times by the police but was still taken for granted. Both the leaders are looking forward to the prospect of joining the BJP soon. District Congress President Arjun Khatariya claimed that the two leaders were inactive and unresponsive to the Congress Party anymore.

It is noteworthy that this disruption in Congress wasn’t observed when former District Congress Chief Hitesh Verona was at the top. After Arjun Khatariya took over command from him, many of Hiteshbhai’s close aides lost confidence and have been inactive. Sanjay Khunt and Mayursinh Jadeja were two of those aides. DeshGujarat
