Youth dies after falling in a open ditch in Rajkot dug by civic body

Rajkot: A young man died after falling in an open ditch on the Raiya road in Rajkot, where repair works are being carried out by the Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC).

The accident took place near Raiya Telephone Exchange on the 150 feet ring road of Rajkot. A local youth Harsh Thakkar was riding his motorbike when he fell into the pit because there was no barricade around the pit. A metal rod from the pit hit the biker’s head causing his death.

The deceased was the only son of the family, which is now devastated after hearing the news of their son’s death. DeshGujarat
