AMC clears 12 of 7800 applications of Impact Fee scheme

Amdavad: Among the 7800 applications seeking regularisation of illegal structures that Amdavad Municipal Corporation received in the past two months, only 2028 have been processed, and only 12 have been approved.
According to the sources, the civic body has asked 2012 applicants to submit supporting documents regarding regularisation.
The new impact fee scheme of the state government allows the regularisation of illegal structures. The snail pace of regularisation was also a point of discussion during the AMC standing committee meeting on Friday, sources said. DeshGujarat
