Customs Dept seizes 10 gold biscuits worth Rs 68 lakhs at Surat Airport

Surat: Customs officials at Surat International Airport seized 10 gold biscuits, which were found concealed inside a mobile phone that was left behind on an abandoned trolley. The gold biscuits are reported to be worth Rs 68 lakhs. The customs officer suggested that the passenger who had concealed the gold biscuits inside the mobile phone must have abandoned it out of fear of getting caught during the checking process.
