Forecast of unseasonal rains in Gujarat through next week starting March 13

Gandhinagar: The weather department of the central government has forecasted the possibility of rainfall in various parts of Gujarat in the upcoming week starting Monday i.e., March 13th.

According to the IMD bulletin, “Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind 30-40 kmph (in gust) accompanied with light rain very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Patan, Dahod, Narmada, Surat, Tapi, Dang, Navsari, Valsad and in Daman, Dadara Nagar Haveli; in the districts of Saurashtra-Kutch namely Amreli, Bhavnagar and Kutch, on March 13th, Monday.

On 14th March, “Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind 30-40 kmph (in gust) accompanied with light rain very likely at isolated places in the districts of South Gujarat region namely Surat, Tapi, Dang, Navsari, Valsad and in Daman, Dadara Nagar Haveli; in the districts of Saurashtra namely Amreli and Bhavnagar.”

On 15th March, “Light thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind 30-40 kmph (in gust) accompanied with light rain very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Dahod, Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Patan, Mehsana, Surat, Tapi, Dang, Chhota Udepur, Navsari, Valsad and in Daman, Dadara Nagar Haveli; in the districts of Saurashtra-Kutch namely Amreli, Bhavnagar, Porbandar, and Kutch.”
