Bull in Valsad found with 40 kgs of garbage in stomach including footwear

Valsad: Veterinarians discovered and removed 40 kgs of garbage, including plastic items and footwear, from the stomach of a bull during an operation here.

Six months ago, Agniveer Gauseva Dal had brought the bull to Gau Dham, which they run in Bhagdavada village, after finding it in a sick state in a vegetable market in Valsad. The bull was treated after being brought to Gau Dham, but it stopped eating everything, including fodder, for the last 3 to 4 days. Its health worsened and it couldn’t stand up again after collapsing.

Dinesh Chauhan from Gau Seva Dal called Karuna Animal Helpline 1962, and the team found the bull’s stomach bloated after checking it. Veterinarians Dr. Jagat Prajapati and Dr. Ankit Yadav conducted the operation on the bull with the help of Agniveer Gauseva Dal karyakars. During the 3 to 4 hours of operation, they found garbage in the bull’s stomach, including plastic items, footwear, shoe soles, old plastic strings with knots, and so on, and removed around 35 to 40 kgs of garbage. After the operation, the bull’s health improved, as informed by the karyakars of Agniveer Gauseva Dal. DeshGujarat
