Shiyalbet to get water supply through pipeline; Foundation stone laid for works

Amreli: Shiyalbet is a bet located in sea, off the main coast of Saurashtra. Several years ago, the State government successfully laid an undersea cable to provide power to Shiyalbet. Now the same bet will get water supply also through pipeline.
The foundation stone for the works for paying a pipeline to supply water to Shiyalbet village in Jafrabad taluka in Amreli district was laid on Friday.
A pipeline to supply water to Shiyalbet had broken in the Tauktae cyclone two years ago on 14th May 2021. The water supply department laid the foundation stone of a pipeline to supply water to Shiyalbet under Rajula group water supply scheme covering the villages of Rajula taluka. The foundation stone was laid under the leadership of water supply cabinet minister Kunvarji Bavaliya and Rajula MLA Hirabhai Solanki.
