Local residents in Rajkot protest against BJP MLAs over water and road
April 12, 2023
Rajkot: Local residents in the Kothariya area of Rajkot staged a protest against BJP leaders, including the Mayor and MLAs, due to the issues of water supply during the summer and the poor condition of roads.
The locals have been frustrated with the lack of the basic facilities and pending works that haven’t been addressed by the authorities. The situation came to a head during a free diagnosis camp organized at Omkar School, which was attended by the city Mayor Pradip Dav and legislators Darshita Shah and Ramesh Tilala.
Citing issues with the poor condition of roads and the lack of water supply in the summer, the locals staged a protest. They claim that the leaders left the event midway to evade the protest and did not respond to their concerns. DeshGujarat
