Bin Anamat Aayog approved loans worth Rs. 1384 Crore for study abroad

Gandhinagar: Bin Anamat Aayog, functioning under the Gujarat government (Unreserved Educational & Economic Development Corporation (GUEEDC) has provided loans totaling Rs. 1384 crore to 9,226 students belonging to general category  for going abroad for studies between July 19th, 2021 and April 11th, 2023.

Out of 13,306 applications received by Bin Anamat Aayog for foreign education loans, 9,226 were approved and granted loans. Of the remaining applications, 1,323 were denied due to improper income certificates, 792 were returned due to incomplete documentation, and 1,965 applications are still pending due to being received late or recently.

In addition, 272 applications are pending with district officers, 281 with social welfare officers, 506 at various stages with the corporation’s office, and 307 with assistant social welfare officers. DeshGujarat
