Gujarat’s State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (SOTTO) to get PM Award

Gandhinagar: Gujarat’s State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (SOTTO) will receive the Prime Minister’s Award for innovative initiatives in organ donation. The award will be presented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 21 in New Delhi.
Gujarat SOTTO will be recognized in the “Innovations-State” category for their efforts to increase deceased organ donors in government hospitals. The government organization has successfully saved lives by transplanting 1,078 organs from 354 organ donors to those in need in the past four years since its establishment in 2019. DeshGujarat
