VMC issues 2nd notice to 54 hospitals for not having parking facilities
April 24, 2023
Vadodara: Following the non-compliance of the earlier notice served in March, the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) has issued a second notice to 54 hospitals in the city for not having parking facilities. The notice states that if the hospitals do not comply with the parking facility requirements within three days, the authorities will take steps to seal the hospital.
The earlier notice had asked a total of 74 hospitals to submit instrumental evidence of the construction at their site, including the property card, charter, city survey map, permission letter, permitted map, and so on, as per Section 256 of the GPMC (Gujarat Provincial Municipal Corporation) Act. They were asked to submit these documents within 10 days.
As the hospitals did not comply with the earlier notice, the civic body has served this new notice warning closure of the hospital in case of non-compliance. DeshGujarat
