Jamnagar: DN Modi, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) office of Gujarat cadre, year 2007 batch, has been appointed as Municipal Commissioner of Jamnagar Municipal Corporation (JMC). Modi was previously Commissioner (ICDS) in the Commissionerate of Women & Child Development in the State capital Gandhinagar. With this, BA Shah has been relieved from the charge of the post.

In another development regarding transfers of two Gujarat Administrative Service (GAS) cadre officers, AK Joshi, Executive Officer of Asarwa civil hospital in Ahmedabad has been transferred as Comptroller of Household to the Governor of Gujarat in Raj Bhavan, Gandhinagar. BB Chaudhary will replace AK Joshi as Executive Officer of Civil Hospital. DeshGujarat
