CR condemns Kharge’s remark comparing Modi to a poisonous snake

Surat: Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief CR Patil today condemned Congress party’s national president Mallikarjun Kharge’s remarks in which he called Prime Minister Narendra Modi a poisonous snake.

Addressing an election rally in Ron, in Gadag district, Kharge said in Kannada: “Modi is like a poisonous snake. Don’t try to lick this snake to check whether it is venomous or not. If you taste it, you are dead.”

Patil said the Congress leaders use language matching street goons. He said BJP has a list of 91 such cases of abuse hurled at Narendrabhai by Congress leaders.

‘After losing power, Congress and Gandhi family is missing no opportunity to abuse the Prime Minister in unacceptable language. While the people of India are happy with PM Modi’s leadership, Congress hurls remarks such as Modi we would dig your grave,’ Patil said.

Patil in his briefing read out the list of abuses hurled against PM Modi by various Congress leaders.
