ACB Gujarat nabs computer operator of Prant Office in bribe case

Vadodara: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed the computer operator of the ATVT branch of a prant office in Santrampur in Mahisagar district, along with a middleman in a bribe case of Rs 70 thousand.

The complainant wanted the certificates of farmer verification. So, he and his uncle contacted the accused computer operator Shaileshkumar Mohatbhai Patel and in his office. The accused told them to talk to the accused middleman Rizvanbhai Bhura about it. The middleman told them that the accused computer operator initially demanded Rs 90 thousand, but Rs 70 thousand is finalized.

The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. The accused computer operator was found taking a bribe of Rs 70 thousand from the complainant during a trap executed by ACB. He is detained. DeshGujarat
