Third extortion complaint against same Youtuber in Ahmedabad crime branch

Ahmedabad: A trustee of Anand Niketan School in the Satellite area has filed a complaint with the city’s crime branch against Ashish Kanjaria, the owner Pol Khol TV website, for allegedly extorting Rs 6 lakh from the school and Rs 2 lakh from the trustee’s brother, who is a businessman. Kanjariya is also president of ‘Gujarat Vali Mandal’ (Gujarat Parents Association).  Kanjariya was also associated with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

This is the third complaint against Kanjaria, who has allegedly extorted Rs 1.5 crore from various schools and companies. The CID crime branch has registered a complaint against Kanjaria under IPC Sections 384, 389, and 507.

The crime branch officials have sought details from the charity commissioner about Aadhaar Foundation, run by Kanjaria, and information from the collector about his channel, Pol Khol TV.

Earlier, the trustees of Udgam School in Thaltej and Edunova School in Maninagar also filed a complaint against Kanjaria alleging extortion. DeshGujarat
