Adulterated chili powder mixed with color found in Mahesana

Mahesana: The Food and Drugs department found adulterated chili powder from Umiya godown in Mehsana.

The food and drugs department raided a godown at Vijapur Himatnagar highway late at night. They found chili powder adulterated with color. They found 2 kg of color from the godown. The owner of the godown Mukesh Maheshwari has absconded. Duplicate fennel and cumin seeds were also found in Mehsana in the past.
