Surat: The Athwa Police have apprehended a Muslim young man from Amroli for threatening to kill a Hindu girl if she ended their friendship and stopped talking to him.
The girl filed a complaint against Ibrahim Yusuf Shah, alleging that the young man had threatened her by saying, “Why are you not talking? I will not let you live, I will kill you.”
The girl works at a jewellery shop and had befriended the accused at her workplace. However, due to his bad behaviour, she decided to end the friendship. The accused didn’t take kindly to her decision and went to her house, forcing her to continue their relationship. But the girl refused, which led to the threatening incident on May 8.
