3-month-old girl dies of head injuries from ceiling fan blade in Surat

Surat: A 3-month-old girl passed away as a result of head injuries caused by a ceiling fan blade after her father playfully tossed her in the air.

Masrudin Shah, who resides in a rented house in the Khanpur area of Limbayat in Surat, along with his wife, three daughters, and one son, was engaging in playtime with his youngest daughter, Zoya, on the morning of May 13th. During their play, he tossed her up in the air, but unfortunately, she sustained an injury to her head from the ceiling fan’s blade.

Zoya was initially admitted to SMIMER Hospital for treatment and later transferred to a private hospital. Eventually, she was taken to the New Civil Hospital, where, she passed away while undergoing treatment. The Limbayat police have registered a case of accidental death in this regard. DeshGujarat
