VHP Gujarat organizes “The Kerala Story” show, seeks tax exemption

Amdavad: Gujarat unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Monday arranged a special screening of the movie “The Kerala Story” at a multiplex here in the city. Attendees at the screening included members of the Hindutva organization, religious leaders, etc.
Ashok Raval, the secretary of VHP’s Gujarat unit claimed that the morning show of the movie received an overwhelming response, with approximately 600 people attending despite the hall’s capacity being 500. Around 16-17 religious leaders also viewed the film, added Raval.
Raval also mentioned that they have requested the state government to exempt the film from taxes and expressed confusion as to why the state government has not yet done so. DeshGujarat
