New medical and surgical ward inaugurated at Military Hospital Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: A new building consisting of 76 bedded Medical and Surgical ward was inaugurated today at Military Hospital Ahmedabad.
Military Hospital Ahmedabad was established as a British Military Hospital in early 19th century. The hospital is homed and functioning in 1876-1887 vintage buildings. It provides medical cover and referral services to all serving soldiers, Ex-servicemen and their families in and around the state of Gujarat.
Adding to this glory, a new state-of-the-art building consisting of 76 bedded Medical and Surgical ward was inaugurated by Lt Gen A K Singh, AVSM, YSM, SM, VSM, GOC-in-C, Southern Command on 16 May 2023. He interacted with patients, distributed fruits and wished for their speedy recovery.
Lt Gen A K Singh complimented Brigadier Sanjeev Kapoor, Commandant Military Hospital and his team for healing touch provided to the troops. Brigadier Sanjeev Kapoor added that this building equipped with central oxygen supply system and other modern infrastructure will enhance and uplift clientele satisfaction by providing exceptional health care facilities.
