Gujarat Rajya Lalit Kala Akademi confers Gaurav Award on 31 artists

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Rajya Lalitkala Akademi, which operates under the Sports, Youth, and Cultural Activities Department of the state, awards the Gaurav Award to artists in Gujarat who have made significant contributions to the fields of painting, sculpture, and visual arts. The state government has announced the selection list of 31 artists who will receive this award. Each artist will be given a cash prize of Rs. 51,000 and will be honored during a special ceremony where they will receive a shawl and a copper plate.

A total of 31 artists to be honored for the years 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20 have been announced, which are as follows –

Year 2016-17

3. Painting by Mr. Kashyap Parikh,
4. Art by Mr. Amul Parmar,
5. Art Mr. Hemantakumar Pandya,
