AAP leader creates ruckus at Surat Civil Hospital; Issues threats to Medical Superintendent and staff

Surat: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) city youth wing president and RTI activist Jayesh Gurjar allegedly stormed into the office of the Medical Superintendent at Surat Civil Hospital. He reportedly grabbed the collar of a security guard before fleeing the scene after issuing threats.

The superintendent, Ganesh Gowekar, filed a complaint at Khatodra police station, providing a detailed account of the incident. According to the complaint, Jayesh Gurjar and three others forcefully entered the superintendent’s office with the intention of recording a video. Upon being denied permission, Jayesh became furious and forcefully grabbed the collar of a security guard.

Allegedly, Jayesh forcibly entered the office by pushing the security guard aside, expressing his anger at being instructed to leave his mobile phone outside and being denied the entry of accompanying individuals. He forcefully banged his hand on the table, provoking a confrontation. Later, while the superintendent was taking a round of the hospital, Jayesh started recording a video, using abusive language, issuing threats, and stating that he would harm the superintendent if he was not permitted to carry out his work. He also made death threats. Subsequently, a knife was found in his bag during the ensuing investigation. DeshGujarat
