Ahmedabad schools seek one-week extension for summer break

Ahmedabad: A group of school administrators has sent a letter to the state education minister requesting an extension of the summer vacation from June 5 to June 12.

Citing the high temperatures, the association suggests prolonging the vacation by one week and implementing morning timings for the initial weeks of school. The association proposes that the department deduct seven days from public holidays to make up for the extended break. DeshGujarat
