BSF recovers 5 packets of drugs from islands off Jakhau Coast

Bhuj: The Border Security Force (BSF) in a search operation on Sunday, recovered five packets of drugs, each weighing approximately 01 kg, from two different isolated bets off the Jakhau Coast in Bhuj.
According to a statement released by BSF, “First packet was recovered from Luna bet, about 08 km off Jakhau Coast, is similar to an earlier recovered packet of Charas and was packed in plastic packing having ‘Afghan Product’ printed on it. Other 04 packets were recovered from Khidrat bet, about 04 km off Jakhau Coast.”
One of the packets resembles the previously recovered packets of Heroin, featuring plastic packaging with ’36 Koffiepads Mild’ printed on it. However, the exact nature and type of the drug recovered on Sunday are still being determined.
Since April 2023, a total of 41 drug packets, including Sunday’s recovery, have been found off the Jakhau Coast. The BSF has launched extensive search operations in the isolated bets off the Jakhau Coast. DeshGujarat
