RMC disposes of 145kg of stale material from ghughra production site

Rajkot: The Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) team found stale potato filling, burnt oil, and food colouring in the chutney at the production site of ghughra owned by Ishwarbhai Ghughrawala in Rajkot.
The RMC food department team conducted an inspection at the production site of Ghughra owned by Ishwarbhai Ghughrawala, located at Hathikhana Street No. 13, Ramnath Krupa area of Rajkot. They discovered unhygienic production practices for Ghughra and the use of food colouring. As a result, they disposed of 145 kgs of stale materials found at the site, including 20 kgs of sweet chutney stored in an unhygienic manner, 5 kg of red chutney, 20 kgs of potato filling, 60 kgs of burnt oil, and 40 kgs of uncooked ghughra that were being dried on sacks.
