Over 1.5 crore to take part in Yoga Day events in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: More than 1.5 crore people in Gujarat are expected to participate in International Yoga Day events scheduled across the state on June 21.
Minister of State Harsh Sanghavi said that first CM Bhupendra Patel will address the people at the state-level function in Surat at 6:30 a.m. Thereafter, there will be a nationwide address by Prime Minister Modi at 6:40 a.m. While 1.5 crore individuals will participate in Yoga Day events throughout the state, approximately 150,000 people will gather at the state-level event in Surat.
MLAs, MPs, and senior officials will participate in programmes organised in different districts. The Gujarat government has chosen 75 iconic locations to celebrate Yoga Day, including the Sabarmati Riverfront, the Statue of Unity, the White Rann of Kutch, and Modhera Sun Temple. DeshGujarat
