Great Danger Warning Signal 10 at Okha and Kandla Ports

Okha: Port warning signal at Okha port in Saurashtra has been updated to number ten. Signal 10 has also been put up at Kandla and other ports of Kutch.

Signal ten (GD10 or Great Danger – 10) means – Severe cyclone to cross over/near to the port.

As per the Central government’s weather department IMD forecast, Cyclone Biporjoy is likely to hit Kutch coast in Gujarat by noon on 15 June near fishing port Jakhau.

Several other ports in Saurashtra region have put up Great Danger signal number 9, meaning – Severe cyclone to cross coast keeping port to its right.
