Bullet Train Project: Bridge over Purna river in Navsari completed
June 15, 2023
Navsari: The construction of the bridge over the Purna River has been successfully completed by the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL).
This bridge is 360 meters long and is located between Bilimora and Surat HSR station. One of the main challenges faced during construction was monitoring the high and low tides from the Arabian Sea. This marks the completion of the second bridge in the bullet train project, following the construction of the initial river bridge spanning 320 meters over the Par river in the Valsad district, which concluded in January 2023. NHSRCL officials state that there are a total of 24 bridges along the Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet route, with 20 located in Gujarat and four in Maharashtra.
महीनों के कठिन परिश्रम, सूक्ष्म योजना और निरंतर कार्य के बाद नवसारी जिले में पूर्णा नदी पर सेतु निर्माण का कार्य पूर्ण हुआ। #NHSRCL #MAHSR @RailMinIndia @PIB_India @DDNewslive @airnewsalerts @InfoGujarat pic.twitter.com/evp10zlGb9
