Surat Police nab 2 for molesting minor hindu female

Surat: The Dindoli police nabbed Jaherudin and Majid for allegedly molesting a minor Hindu female in the Chhath Talav garden of Dindoli, here in the city.

The two accused, Jaherudin alias Sahid Saiyad Ahmed (who lives in house number 301, Ravishankar Society, Bhathena, Udhna) and Majid Mustak Ansari (who lives in plot no. 16, Sanjar Society, Unapatiya), called the 15-year-old Hindu female studying in class 11 and living in Limbayat to Chhath Garden in Dindoli. They allegedly molested her. The surrounding people at the garden rescued her and caught the two accused.

The complaint was filed by the minor female’s father at Dindoli police station. He stated in the complaint that he got a call from a person who told him that they had caught unknown boys molesting his daughter at Chhath Talav Garden in Dindoli. So he immediately reached there and took the accused to the Dindoli police station.

According to the minor female, she got a call from her friend Jaherudin, who was studying with her, on the phone of her friend living in her neighbourhood at around 3 p.m. Accused Jaherudin asked her to meet him at Chhath Talav Garden. She took a rickshaw from Limbayat and arrived there. Upon reaching, she saw Jaherudin and his friends Majid, Lakki, and Mofish standing near the entrance. They entered the garden and sat on a bench. Jaherudin placed his hand on her shoulder, and when she refused, his friend Majid forcefully pulled her hand towards him. They both began touching her inappropriately when she rejected their advances. Other individuals in the garden witnessed the incident and caught both accused.
