Three retired IAS officers appointed in GSDMA , GMDC, GACL and Revenue Tribunal

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has appointed former Additional Chief Secretary of Gujarat, Dr. Rajeev Kumar Gupta (retired IAS) to head the Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority (GSDMA) replacing another retired IAS officer PK Taneja.
Another advisor of Chief Minister and retired former IAS officer Dr. Hasmukh Adhia has been appointed as Chairman of Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) and Gujarat Alkalies & Chemicals Limited (GACL).
The State government has also appointed retired IAS officer LP Padaliya in Revenue Tribunal which functions under the Revenue department. The State government had earlier appointed Chief Minister’s advisor and IAS officer SS Rathore to lead the Gujarat Maritime Board(GMB). Rathore also lead the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC).
