Surat APMC to export alphonso mango pulp to 7 countries

Surat: Surat Agriculture Market Produce Committee (APMC) will export the pulp of Kesar and Hapus alphonso mangoes to 7 foreign countries this year.
Surat APMC board of management has decided to export the pulp of 900 to 1000 tons of Hapus mangoes to countries including UAE, Russia, Korea, Japan, Canada, USA, and Germany at the start of July this year. Surat APMC chairman and MLA Sandip Desai informed that Surat APMC purchased 900 to 1000 tons of Kesar and Hapus mangoes from the farmers of South Gujarat and Ratnagiri in Maharashtra and produced their pulp. The pulp will be exported to foreign countries in addition to domestic selling.
Surat APMC will also sell the pulp to the large dairies of the state of the cooperative sector, as informed by Surat APMC chairman and MLA Sandip Desai. The mango pulp plant operated for 40 days this year. DeshGujarat
