Heavy rain forecast for parts of Gujarat for next 5 days

Gandhinagar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted heavy to very heavy rains in isolated areas of Gujarat for the next five days. Additionally, light to moderate rain/thundershowers are expected in most places across all districts of the Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch, and in Diu, Daman, and Dadra Nagar Haveli during these 5 days from June 28 to July 02.

June 28th: Heavy to very heavy rains are very likely at a few places with isolated extremely heavy falls in the districts of the South Gujarat region namely Surat, Valsad and in Daman, Dadara Nagar Haveli.

Heavy to very heavy rains are very likely at isolated places in the district of South Gujarat region namely Bharuch and Navsari; in the district of Saurashtra namely Gir Somnath and in Diu.

Heavy rains are very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Panchmahal, Dahod, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Dang and Tapi; in the districts of Saurashtra namely Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Dwarka and Jamnagar.

July 1st: Heavy rains are very likely at isolated places in the districts of the South Gujarat region namely Navsari, Valsad and in Daman, Dadara Nagar Haveli. 

July 2nd: Heavy rains are very likely at isolated places in the districts of the South Gujarat region namely Surat, Dang, Navsari, Valsad and in Daman, Dadara Nagar Haveli.
