State-level Independence Day celebration to be in Valsad this year

Valsad: The state government has announced that this year’s state-level Independence Day celebration will be held in Valsad district.
A meeting, led by Valsad district collector Kshipra Agre, was conducted on Tuesday at 5:30 pm in the assembly hall of the collector’s office. The meeting involved officials from the district cooperative committee and covered various topics, including the selection of the celebration venue. The process of evaluating three locations – Vapi, Dharampur, and Nana Pondha – for the state-level event was initiated.
It is expected that the celebration will take place in Vapi. Previously, the state-level Republic Day celebration was held in Valsad on January 26, 2005, at the Gujarat Housing Board ground in Valsad. DeshGujarat
